There are a variety of ways to control your electric operator. The most widely used is the new secure handsets which are available in a variety of colours…
Safety Features…
If the sensors detect an obstruction, the door will automatically stop and raise approximately 30cm to provide sufficient space for the obstruction to be cleared.
In the event of a power failure, there is a manual override from within the garage.
If you have no other access to your garage, there will be an external override added which uses a key in the event of a power failure. This is something we automatically include if it is required.
Courtesy Light…
Each electric operator that we install comes standard with a courtesy light. This illuminates as the door is operated and will remain on from one to three minutes after operation to make it easier for you to see what you are doing once inside the garage if there is no other source of light.
